Uniform and Dress Code

dsc_0030-edittedIngelton is an equal opportunity educational institution which thus means that there is zero tolerance for discrimination and/or bullying. To enforce this zero tolerance policy, the school provides and requires the use of a uniform. A uniform eliminates certain prejudices, judgements and stereotypes and provides a way to keep children equal and seen for more than their clothing or appearances. The uniform also creates a sense of community and family. The uniform is a way that Ingleton enhances school pride and creates a school identity in addition to being a cost effective solution. The inclusion and identity this uniform creates is one of Ingleton’s top priorities and the uniform assists in carrying out the school’s mission and values.
